SONIC Waves of Change Part 1

sonic_issue_260
Two weeks in a row for Sonic fans with another adventure in the Sonic Universe, this week with the focus on Sonic the Hedgehog and the Freedom Fighters in Sonic the Hedgehog #260.

Journey under the sea with Sonic the Hedgehog in the first chapter of an epic new SAGA, “Waves of Change.” At the end of the last story arc the world was shattered into pieces? Last week in Sonic Universe it was Knuckles who was starting to deal with the fallout but this time it’s the blue namesake himself who is centre stage. So what could be worse than the world breaking into pieces? How about dark monsters rising from the abyss?

While Sonic and the Freedom Fighters race to find the Chaos Emeralds and Gaia Temples, Sonic ends up discovering a whole new world of adventure deep beneath the waves! But will those he encounters prove to be friend or foe? Then, in “Light in the Dark”: Part One – Sally, Nicole, Tails and Antoine venture into the Eggman’s latest grab for power to retrieve a desperately-needed Chaos Emerald!

This week’s comic features all-new cover art from superstar artist Ben Bates and a special SONIC VERSUS variant cover from Sonic artist Evan Stanley!

Check out a preview from inside the pages of the comic below and you can also check out a double bonus with the release of Sonic Super Special this week, which is packed with news on Sonic videogames, the upcoming television series, upcoming SONIC comics and trades from Archie Comics as well as some brand new comics.

On Sale: 5/21 | 32-page, full color comic | $2.99 US.
