The Pok\u00e9mon Company International and Nintendo announced new features and Pok\u00e9mon today for their upcoming video games Pok\u00e9mon Sun<\/i> and Pok\u00e9mon Moon<\/i>, which will be released in November for the Nintendo 3DS. In addition to the new Pok\u00e9mon there are also a host of information related to the game, including Global Link and online competitions.<\/p>\n
But let’s get to the new Pok\u00e9mon first, because that’s what everyone is most interested in. I must say that, as a whole, I have been a bit underwhelmed with the new creatures, though there are a few notable standouts that actually look like they’re going to be pretty cool. There’s a few that I wouldn’t mind adding to my stable. Like Mudsdale, if you catch my meaning. Because he’s a horse Pok\u00e9mon. Okay, never mind. Let’s get right down to it.<\/p>\n

Name: Wimpod <\/b>
\nType: Bug\/Water<\/b>
\nWimpod is the Turn Tail Pok\u00e9mon. This Pok\u00e9mon is a cowardly scavenger which eats or stores anything that\u2019s been dropped in the sea, so it\u2019s highly valued across the Alola region as a cleaner of the sea. Wimpod has the new Ability Wimp Out, which causes this Pok\u00e9mon to run away or swap out for another Pok\u00e9mon when its HP drops below half in battle.<\/p>\n
Name: Bounsweet<\/b>
\nType: Grass<\/b>
\nFruit Pok\u00e9mon Bounsweet gives off a delicious aroma. This aroma has a calming effect on humans, so many people across Alola let them live inside their homes as an air freshener.<\/p>\n
Name: Comfey<\/b>
\nType: Fairy<\/b>
\nComfey, the Posy Picker Pok\u00e9mon, picks flowers to carry around. Comfey uses its soothing aroma to help treat people and Pok\u00e9mon at Pok\u00e9mon Centers and hospitals.<\/p>\n
Name: Mudsdale<\/b>
\nType: Ground<\/b>
\nMudsdale is the Draft Horse Pok\u00e9mon, possessing incredible power and endurance. Its legs are coated in protective mud, and its kick can destroy a car in a single blow. Mudsdale can have the Ability Stamina, a new Ability which raises a Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s Defense by one when it\u2019s hit by an attack.<\/p>\n
Name: Bewear<\/b>
\nType: Normal\/Fighting<\/b>
\nBewear is the Strong Arm Pok\u00e9mon that must never be approached carelessly. With its stout and highly developed arms and legs, Bewear loves to give crushing bear hugs which will split anything in two.<\/p>\n
Name: Mimikyu<\/b>
\nType: Ghost<\/b>\/Fairy<\/b>
\nAs the Disguise Pok\u00e9mon, Mimikyu lives its life constantly covered by its cloth. Mimikyu\u2019s Disguise Ability allows it to escape danger from an enemy\u2019s attack one time, changing its appearance afterward.<\/p>\n
New features are coming to the Pok\u00e9mon Global Link, a website which connects players around the world who are enjoying the Pok\u00e9mon series. The Pok\u00e9mon Global Link will be ending its current Pok\u00e9mon Omega Ruby<\/i>, Pok\u00e9mon Alpha Sapphire<\/i>, Pok\u00e9mon X<\/i>, and Pok\u00e9mon Y<\/i> service. It will be updated to make it compatible with Pok\u00e9mon Sun<\/i> and Pok\u00e9mon Moon<\/i> and to introduce Friendly Competitions, a new function which allows players to become competition hosts and hold their own original competitions, where they can set the regulations. Two types of Friendly Competition will be available, Online and Live.<\/p>\n\n
