What’s this? The blue pig wizard himself Ganon is finally returning to a Nintendo game? Well this just made my day! Now lets see this guy get some screen time in Breathe Of The Wild<\/em> eh? Ganon is just an amiibo tap away as he pulls up his RV to the new Campground area added in the free Animal Crossing: New Leaf update!<\/p>\n

Yeah sure there are other people like Cece or Vich\u00e9 if you tap Callie or Marie from Splatoon into your game. They even have Splatoon related items that you can buy for MEOW coupons in game. But… but… Ganon! I never thought we’d see him again without his ginger hair from Ocarina of Time. Now I can even invite him into my town! Muhahaha! Halloween never has to end now! Return of darkness Link! You don’t have the Bells to visit my town and try to take back the Triforce now!<\/p>\n

You do need to meet up with a character called Wisp before you can use amiibo functionality. I’m assuming that’s why I currently can’t use wi-fi at the campgrounds to invite new visitors. All I wanted to do was hang out with an evil wizard on vacation!<\/p>\n

Besides Ganon you can have Wolf Link, Medli, and even Epona visit with Zelda ammibo figures. I don’t know how it all works yet, if a random character just shows up when you tap a figure from that franchise, but hopefully I’ll find out soon. There’s lots more like all amiibo cards that are currently out also being compatible with the game as well! Though I think they’re mainly for Wisp to invite them to your town instead of RV visitors. That content is reserved for the upcoming Animal Crossing card releases.<\/p>\n
