Catching a Pok\u00e9mon every day will earn 500 XP and 600 Stardust. Catching a Pok\u00e9mon every day for 7 days straight will earn a larger bonus of 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust.<\/p>\n
Visiting a Pok\u00e9Stop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn you 500 XP and a number of additional items, while visiting a Pok\u00e9Stop every day for 7 days straight will earn the larger bonus of 2,000 XP and a greater number of additional items.<\/p>\n
The eligibility of the bonuses rolls over at 12:00 AM local time.<\/p>\n
Also when you defeat the Gym Leader at a rival Gym, there will be a brief period of time where only you will be able to place a Pok\u00e9mon in the open Gym. This will help prevent others from swooping in and scooping your freshly defeated gym. As well the amount of Prestige a rival Gym loses when you defeat a regular Gym member has increased and the amount of Prestige gained by training at a friendly Gym has been lowered.<\/p>\n
As far as the nearby Pok\u00e9mon feature, the developers are currently testing a variation of the Nearby Pok\u00e9mon feature in San Francisco, California. This test area has now been expanded in parts of Arizona, the Seattle area of Washington state, and the rest of the San Francisco Bay area. The developers are continuing to review community feedback, make changes if necessary, and roll this feature out to more regions.<\/p>\n
To celebrate this feature, from November 7th to November 11th, Niantic stated today that there will be more Pok\u00e9mon out in the world.
