Nintendo revealed today at Gamescom that their upcoming Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition<\/strong> system will include a Rewind feature.<\/p>\n

The feature will let players rewind their gameplay to retry tricky sections, pick up missed items or simply run through an area again to see if anything was missed. <\/p>\n

The rewind time depends on the kind of game though. Players can go back a few minutes in role-playing games such as Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars<\/em>, while action titles such as Super Mario World offer around 40 seconds, ideal for re-trying short segments of gameplay. <\/p>\n

The system also comes with optional frames that can be wrapped around the on-screen display for each game.<\/p>\n

The system is also now available for pre-order from many retailers including EB Games. The system retails for $99.99 CAD. It will be available on September 29th.<\/p>\n
