{"id":13483,"date":"2018-04-18T11:46:30","date_gmt":"2018-04-18T15:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.darkainarts.com\/gamers\/?p=13483"},"modified":"2018-04-18T11:46:30","modified_gmt":"2018-04-18T15:46:30","slug":"nba-playgrounds-2-announced-for-switchps4xbox-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.darkainarts.com\/gamers\/2018\/04\/nba-playgrounds-2-announced-for-switchps4xbox-one\/","title":{"rendered":"NBA Playgrounds 2 announced for Switch\/PS4\/Xbox One"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saber Interactive revealed on Tuesday that <strong>NBA Playgrounds 2<\/strong>, the next installment in the arcade-sports franchise, is coming later this year.<\/p>\n<p><em>NBA Playgrounds 2<\/em> raises the intensity of the series\u2019 over-the-top, two-on-two street action with a new line-up of online and local multiplayer game modes, as well as new courts from playgrounds across the world.<\/p>\n<p>Playgrounds Championship mode introduces a new worldwide ranked league system, featuring multiple competitive solo and co-op division ladders for players to climb. Season mode is a new single-player experience that recreates the feeling of leading a team through the regular season, playoffs, and, ultimately, the NBA Championship itself. There\u2019s also improved matchmaking with dedicated servers, the arrival of four-player online matches, the return of three-point contests, custom matches, and more.<\/p>\n<p>The game will launch with a roster of over 200 current and retired NBA players \u2013 including Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, Damian Lillard, Karl-Anthony Towns, Shaquille O\u2019Neal, Magic Johnson, Dr. J., Allen Iverson and Larry Bird.<\/p>\n<p>There are new moves and power-ups to bust out, improved AI, and new player models and animations.<\/p>\n<p><em>NBA Playgrounds 2<\/em> is expected to launch in 2018 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
