The game, which will also be released digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, is now available for pre-order from first party stores and at participating retailers.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sonic Mania<\/em>\u00a0introduced two new playable characters from past <em>Sonic<\/em> games, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel and an Encore mode in <em>Sonic Mania Plus<\/em> that will provide a fresh look to familiar zones with new challenges and layouts for new and veteran players alike.<\/p>\n<p>Competition and Time Attack modes will receive an update allowing four player competitions, and ghost challenges for time trials.
