You’ll encounter Team GO Rocket at discolored Pok\u00e9Stops. It appears they\u2019re after the Pok\u00e9Stops\u2019 resources. You can battle Team GO Rocket \u2014 Once you begin the encounter with a Team GO Rocket Grunt, they\u2019ll challenge you to a battle. After a successful battle, you\u2019ll have an opportunity to catch a Shadow Pok\u00e9mon that Team GO Rocket abandoned. The Shadow Pok\u00e9mon can\u2019t be traded away by the Trainer who rescued them unless they\u2019re Purified first.<\/p>\n
Purification help Shadow Pok\u00e9mon return to a more normal state, and Purified Pok\u00e9mon can also become stronger than their normal counterparts<\/p>\n
Team GO Rocket will be around from Thursday, July 25th, 2019, at 4:00pm until Thursday, August 1st, 2019, at 4:00pm ET.<\/p>\n
Oddly specific Shiny Pok\u00e9mon have started appearing including Shiny Ekans or Shiny Koffing in the wild, in raids, or in Eggs. The following Pok\u00e9mon will hatch more frequently from Eggs: Rattata, Ekans, Sandshrew, Zubat, Meowth, Machop, Magnemite, Grimer, Gastly, Drowzee, Cubone, Koffing, Murkrow, Sneasel, Houndour, and Poochyena.<\/p>\n
Raids will feature Pok\u00e9mon that are significant to Team GO Rocket.<\/p>\n
