Another visual novel is headed to the Nintendo Switch in qureate’s NekoMiko. The game was released for Steam<\/a> back in January and will make the jump to the Nintendo Switch<\/a> on December 5th.<\/p>\n Nekofuku Shrine is a small shrine located in a corner of Akihabara. It is dedicated to 2 cats that are said to bring in good fortune and expel any misfortune. <\/p>\n The legend goes that 2 cats came to help the revival of the town after a huge fire burnt it down a long time ago. Although the ancient and honorable shrine has stood in a quiet side street of Akihabara for hundreds of years, its surroundings have developed, leaving it with no worshippers for many years. <\/p>\n One day, a very unfortunate young man came to visit the old shrine.<\/p>\n The 2 cat-eared girls in the appearance of shrine maidens, could not stand by and not greet their first worshipper for many years. Especially one riddled with such misfortune. <\/p>\n The 2 cat-eared girls start living with the young man to rid him of his misfortune, but…<\/p>\n It turns out that this is the start of a somewhat eventful and sexual cohabitation between the young man and the 2 cat-eared shrine maidens!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Nintendo Switch version of the game is rated “T” for Teen with the rating advisory citing sexual themes. The developers have released a R-18 patch for the Steam version of the game, but I doubt that we’ll get any sort of DLC for the Switch release with anything similar. <\/p>\n Either way it looks like a cute game. Definitely up my alley.<\/p>\n This is the first game from qureate. They also released another visual novel called NinNinDays<\/em> in August. <\/p>\n NekoMiko<\/em> arrives in the Nintendo eShop on December 5th and will retail for a modest $12.59 CAD.<\/p>\n
