A free update is coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons on March 18th which will add several special items and new features to the game.<\/p>\n

1st<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary Cake<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Nook Inc. made a 1st<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary Cake to commemorate the occasion. It will be sent to players\u2019 in-game mailbox after the update is installed.<\/p>\n

Sanrio Items<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Starting March 26th,\u00a0<\/b>the\u00a0Animal Crossing<\/i>\u00a0Sanrio Collaboration Pack will be available for purchase at at a suggested retail price of $6.99 CAD. You\u2019ll be able use these six amiibo cards to invite cute and colorful\u00a0Animal Crossing<\/i>\u00a0residents inspired by popular Sanrio characters to your island, including Rita, Chai and Toby. These amiibo cards exchange bells for special Sanrio-themed furniture and fashion items in-game, too.<\/p>\n

The cards are available in Canada online at Best Buy and Amazon.ca, however I have not seen them in stock.<\/p>\n
