\nGet ready for another installment of Mario Party<\/em> this winter with the latest installment set to hit Nintendo’s 3D portable this winter. This will be the tenth game in the series which got its start on the Nintendo 64 back in 1998. Since that time there have been nine installments of the main series (N64, GameCube, Wii) as well as two portable incarnations (Mario Party Advance<\/em> for the GBA and Mario Party DS<\/em> for the Nintendo DS).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The new game will feature seven game boards, each with unique rules and very different gameplay. One board will highlight the importance of interactions with opponents in one board where you can interfere with other players with the use of items. Another will allow you to collect boosts to multiply moves on your dice to reach the end. Another board will test your luck and move in one board where each role of the dice can get you further ahead or push you right back to the start. Hide in safety or risk moving forward and being left vulnerable to a Bullet Bill, should someone else roll Bill on the dice.<\/p>\n

Some of the boards also allow the game to finish quickly and in a small amount of turns in case you don’t have a lot of time to play the game. Plus there are 81 new minigames, including some that test your luck, skill and concentration, plus several through AR cards.<\/p>\n
