A new iPhone is coming…maybe.<\/p>\n
Apple sent out invitations today to an event being held in San Francisco on September 12th. Based on the image included in the invitation it is widely believed to be an event which will see the annoucement of the iPhone 5.<\/p>\n
Aside from rumours of the new device, specifics aren’t known for the new new phone.<\/p>\n
So why is this being reported on a gaming site? More and more phones are being used less and less as … phones. I know I use my ‘phone’ for about 5% talking and 95% everything else, from email, Twitter, browsing and of course gaming.<\/p>\n
The new iPhone 5 is also quickly becoming a gaming platform. Square-Enix in Japan has a full slate of iOS games on the horizon and the market is expanding.<\/p>\n
