\nIt has come to our attention that several titles in the Nintendo 3DS eShop (but not all) are coming up at the wrong prices. The prices being charged for the games are anywhere from 10 cents to $1.25 higher than the price listed on Nintendo.com.<\/p>\n

I have a few examples of recent releases with the price listed on Nintendo.com and the price being charged in the eShop.<\/p>\n

Wakedas<\/strong> – Listed $2.99 – eShop price $3.09
\n10-in-1: Arcade Collection<\/strong> – Listed $2.99 – eShop price $3.09
\nBarbie: Groom and Glam Pups<\/strong> – Listed $29.99 – eShop price $31.25
\nFish On 3D<\/strong> – Listed $9.99 – eShop price $10.49<\/p>\n

As I said not all of the releases are like this, with games like Ninja Gaiden II ($4.99), Virtue’s Last Reward ($24.99), Funfair Party Games ($19.99), Steamworld Dig ($8.99) and Donkey Kong ($4.99) all showing for sale in the eShop for the same price as Nintendo.com.<\/p>\n

Is this an error?<\/p>\n

I’ve reached out to Nintendo for comment on whether this is a mistake. It should be noted that this price discrepancy is in the North American (Canadian) eShop. It’s not known at this time if the issue exists elsewhere.<\/p>\n

UPDATE [08\/27]: I spoke with Nintendo today and the issue is a new one for them. They have taken the information and are going to look into the issue and let me know when they find out more. Another interesting note is that the new title added to the eShop today is also showing up in error. Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff<\/em> is listed at $29.99 but is showing in the eShop at $30.93.<\/p>\n
