\nEnjoy Up Games has announced their epic looking game Unepic<\/em> will be released on the Nintendo Wii U eShop next week, with the launch date set for January 16th. The game is a mixture of a platform game, RPG and takes place in a huge medieval fantasy castle.<\/p>\n

The hero is named Daniel, a normal guy from today: great videogame player, big lover of sci-fi movies and novice player of role-playing games. In the middle of a role-playing game with his friends, he is teleported to a castle and he thinks that he is hallucinating. So he decides to run his own adventure until the hallucination ends.<\/p>\n

In the castle Daniel becomes possessed by a shadow, however this shadow can’t control him. The only way for the shadow to escape from the hero\u2019s body is by the death of the Hero. So the shadow tends to lie to the hero by giving him false clues. Can you sift through the lies and prevent Daniel\u2019s death?<\/p>\n

The game is a 2D RPG with 200 rooms to explore and will feature 7 bosses, 70 spells and 100 weapons. You can craft your own potions and the game is playable in four levels of difficulty with three different endings.<\/p>\n

Unepic<\/em> makes perfect use of the Wii U gamepad, allowing you to craft and control a lot of the inventory from the gamepad, allowing you to continue your game on the tv screen uninterrupted.<\/p>\n
