Compile Heart is known for giving you areas to explore and level up in while weaving a large story to enjoy. Fairy Fencer F<\/em> is no exception to that winning formula and spins a new tale that may draw in a different crowd. Unlike past titles Mugen Souls<\/em> and the Hyperdimension Neptunia<\/em> series, this is much more of a traditional fantasy JRPG in the story sense. Fairy Fencer F<\/em> takes place in a world after the goddess and vile god have fought to a stalemate. Each is frozen by various weapons called Furies. These two can be freed however if Fencers can use their ability to wield and collect Furies, which then can remove those holding them in stasis.<\/p>\n Of course, mystery and intrigue lie in the fact that your main star Fang doesn’t want to be involved in all this. He’d rather be finding good places to eat, and taking it easy. Unfortunately he decided to draw one of the Furies from a stone in a town. His intentions were to use their power to wish for more food, but instead he’s stuck helping the fairy trapped inside the weapon complete her task first of collecting Furies.<\/p>\n It’s a fun title so far, and I’ve even enjoyed it more than this years Mugen Souls Z<\/em> title. Don’t get me wrong, Mugen Souls Z<\/em> I feel is an improvement even over the original, but I’ve just been enjoying the direct nature of Fairy Fencer F<\/em> so far.
