Square-Enix announced on Thursday the release a new free-to-play card battle game called Guardian Cross<\/a> on iOS<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guardian Cross pits monsters against players who take on the role of \u201cGuardians\u201d that capture, raise and control over 120 beasts. The game\u2019s coliseum system allows players to challenge their captured beasts against others around the world.<\/p>\n

The creator of the Final Fantasy ATB system, Hiroyuki Ito, is the lead concept planner for the game with Naoshi Mizuta composing the game’s music and Akira Oguro leading character design.<\/p>\n

For a limited time, gamesrs can receive rare limited edition cards including moogles, mandragoras, Ifrit and other classic monsters from Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV by inviting friends to play the game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
