News of Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash is certainly exciting, which features Chibi-Robo himself throwing his plug like Thor’s Hammer to grapple to new heights in a side scrolling platformer. Fans will be delighted to know that not only is the game coming to our shores, but the bundle pack including a Chibi-Robo amiibo will be available in North America as well! This does seem to include Canada since our PR does come from the Canadian branch of Nintendo’s PR.<\/p>\n

The Chibi-Robo amiibo is mentioned as being an exclusive to the bundle in Nintendo’s latest mini Nintendo Direct. Chibi-Robo’s amiibo can be tapped in any level to transform into Super Chibi-Robo! Also, when you complete a level, your score can be saved to the amiibo to level it up. Based on that level you can unlock in game items.<\/p>\n

Jason released news of the game itself and the bundle<\/a> yesterday, but I wanted to reiterate for Chibi-Robo fans that the bundle is indeed coming to North America as well. Hopefully this means the bundle will be readily available to encourage amiibo functionality on the Nintendo 3DS.<\/p>\n

This new amiibo transforms Chibi-Robo into the all-powerful Super Chibi-Robo in certain stages in the game. In addition, players can level up this Chibi-Robo amiibo to acquire a variety of in-game collectible figures and items by saving their scores at the end of each stage.
