Nintendo released some sales numbers today for the Wii U console and the numbers are very positive.<\/p>\n
Lifted by the sales of Super Mario Maker<\/em>, sales for the Wii U in September are up 110% over sales in August. Super Mario Maker<\/em> has sold nearly 445,000 combined units in its first week of release on September 11th.<\/p>\n Elsewhere sales for the Nintendo 3DS have increased nearly 25% in the first nine months of 2015 over the same period in 2014. Nintendo’s newest 3DS title Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer<\/em> launched on September 25th and sold nearly 115,000 total units in its first week on the market.<\/p>\n Nintendo still has a fairly hefty slate of titles between now and the holidays with The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, YO-KAI WATCH, and Pok\u00e9mon Super Mystery Dungeon coming for the 3DS.
