Nintendo has announced the theme for the next Splatoon<\/em> Splatfest, and it’s being kept close to home. The next Splatfest theme is none other than Pok\u00e9mon<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Head to the Inkopolis Plaza and select which game is your favorite: Pok\u00e9mon Red or Pok\u00e9mon Blue! This Splatfest will begin on February 19 at 10:00 PM PT and will run until February 20 at 10:00 PM PT.<\/p>\n

This Splatfest will also happen simultaneously around the world. Like any other Splatfest, however, players you get matched with will be from your region, and the results will also be tallied by each region.<\/p>\n

Which side will you choose? I had the original Pok\u00e9mon Red version for my GameBoy, so I’m partial to the Charmander bloodline. The original Pok\u00e9mon games \u2013 Pok\u00e9mon Red Version, Pok\u00e9mon Blue Version and Pok\u00e9mon Yellow Version \u2013 will be released in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS on February 27th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
