The SteamWorld hype train is certainly picking up steam!
Image & Form released the official release trailer for SteamWorld Heist this morning. The game is of course a strategy shooter that launches worldwide on Nintendo 3DS eShop worldwide (except Japan) on Thursday.
In addition to the trailer being release today, Image & Form have confirmed that they are planning a free content update aimed for release in January 2016. The update will contain more languages and additional “fun game stuff.” The update will add French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian. No further details are available about what the “fun stuff” could be but we’ve had our hands on this game over the weekend and it is already chocked pretty full of fun stuff. We can’t wait to see what else is in store.

Oh and if you’re looking forward to getting the game you should do so early. Until December 31st the game will be on sale with a special 15% launch discount and exclusive 3DS home menu theme. The game will retail for $19.99 but will be on sale until the end of the year for $16.99.
