Doki Doki Panic in Japan, Super Mario Bros 2 USA over here, is a fantastic game. So on today’s Nintendo direct I did my best to hold back my enthusiasm when it was announced that keys and key doors would be added to Super Mario Maker. That’s just it. There still isn’t an SMB2 pack! We have the keys, key doors, yet no horrible Phanto to chase Mario down while he carries it. Sure, I get that keys were in other Mario games as well but geeze. Come on! This news would be a complete thrill!
The Super Mario Maker update adds key, key doors, and pink coins that when collected, give a key. You can also assign keys to bosses and it seems make mandatory bosses for your levels.
But come on! I’m not asking for much here. Sub Con needs me to save it again, I’m sure! My inner child who got the original Super Mario Bros 2 is begging for it! Shy Guys, Sniffits, Birdo, Claw Grip, Mouser! WART! Bring them back Nintendo!
