Simulation games are usually all the rage these days and now you can take on the epic role of a slice of bread. Bread eager to live out that wondrous butterfly like transformation of snuggling into it’s toaster cocoon and emerging as toast itself!
I’d seen a bit of gameplay awhile ago and the concept actually looks very enjoyable! You move about by pinning a corner of your piece of bread down, and then flopping around that point. You can grab more than one as well so you can flop along and flip to your goal. The game includes an edibility rating that lowers if you find yourself in yucky situations or on the floor for example. There’s even a grip meter to tell how long you can hold on to the current surface.

So as you can see, it’s quite a skill game. That and it gives a strange sense to me of Katamari Damacy. It’s fun, unique, and available now! I Am Bread was just released on Steam today in it’s full release. Below is the release trailer.
