The time has nearly arrived! Image & Form announced today that their newest game SteamWorld Heist will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in the Americas, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on December 10th. The regular price point of the game will be $19.99 / €19.99 / £14.99.
SteamWorld Heist is a game about space adventures and strategic shoot-outs. Play as Captain Piper and recruit a team of rag-tag robots to explore and scavenge the remains of a destroyed world. Board enemy spaceships and command your crew in a unique variety of turn-based combat, where the outcome is determined purely by your own skills.
However, since it’s the holidays, Image & Form is also throwing in a launch discount as a Christmas present to the marvellous Nintendo 3DS community. From launch until December 31st, the price will be $16.99 / €16.99 / £11.99! Plus there will be an exclusive 3DS theme available from launch until December 31st as well. The theme will come with every purchase of SteamWorld Heist. After that, the theme will never be available again.
Image & Form plans to debit the SteamWorld Heist release trailer premieres on December 8th.
The game will also be released at a future date on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Wii U and mobile platforms.
