What have I been playing this week?

I’ve been doing this series for about a month now and this week saw a shake up in games as three new games came out that I have my attention on.

Last week was a bit of an odd one. I spent a lot of my time at home playing through Aksys Games Chronicles of Teddy on the Wii U. I’ve been enjoying the game so far, though at times I’m lost as to what I should be doing. It’s making it take longer to gather my thoughts for my review, which should be coming later this week.

As far as my 3DS gaming there haven’t been any big games on my list over the last seven days, with most of my time spent on Nintendo’s free-to-start games Pokémon Picross and My Nintendo Picross. I’ll admit I didn’t even give Pokémon Picross a second thought when it appeared on my system and wasn’t until I redeemed 1000 coins from My Nintendo for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess themed puzzle game that I even turned my attention to the Pokémon one. I’ll have my thoughts for those two games soon as well.

I’ve also been playing the new Nintendo mobile app Miitomo on my phone. It’s pretty fun so far but hopefully Nintendo adds some nice new content to the game. I talked about that in my Impressions of the app last week.

I still haven’t had a chance to put to bed my review of XSeed’s Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, but I do plan on having my thoughts on the game out very soon.

Top 5 playtime 3DS from April 3rd – April 9th

  1. Pokémon Picross – 4:22
  2. My Nintendo Picross – 3:18
  3. Pokémon Shuffle – 0:37
  4. Nintendo Badge Arcade – 0:29

What are you playing this week? Did you get anything new, or are you looking forward to something? Let us know in the comments below!

I've been playing Nintendo all of my life and have had virtually every Nintendo console ever made. I'm a little bit Nintendo-centric but I'll still bring you a helping of other gaming goodness too. You can also Check me out on Miiverse too.
