The Nintendo Direct presentation today concluded with the reveal of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is currently in development for Nintendo Switch.
The trailer seems to suggest that some sort of evil has been awakened in Hyrule. While there was no detail released aside from the game is in development, it’s unlikely that it will be released in 2020. However it could be that Nintendo doesn’t want to commit to a release window until they are confident that they can hit it.
Considering it’s been more than two years since the release of Breath of the Wild, development has likely been ongoing for quite some time. So you never know.
